We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as scrubbing and buffing to ensure floors are well-maintained and presentable.
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols.
- Maintain restrooms by ensuring they are clean, stocked, and sanitized regularly.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Support porter duties by moving furniture or equipment as necessary during events or facility changes.
- Participate in special cleaning projects, including residential painting or deep cleaning initiatives as assigned.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes.
