Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing our enterprise-level network and server infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network systems, while also providing general IT systems support to enhance overall operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to managing network and server environments. Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain network and server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Perform regular security monitoring and updates to protect data and systems.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.
Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement network solutions.
Document network configurations, procedures, and changes.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Can substitute with experience and certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network , or similar.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software.
Experience with network security and firewall management.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as:
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
CompTIA Network
CompTIA Security
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Experience with the following technologies: Auvik, SonicWALL, Netgear, VMWare Virtual Machines, Dell, Ubiquiti, Cisco, and Polycom IP Phone Systems.
Familiarity with enterprise-level network management tools.
Experience with cloud services and virtualization technologies.
