Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and team members to facilitate smooth workflow.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Utilize construction management software for project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any safety concerns.
- Train and mentor team members in best practices for construction techniques and safety protocols.
- Prepare reports on project status, including progress updates and any issues that arise.
- Manage equipment and material logistics to ensure timely availability for ongoing projects.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as HeavyBid or Primavera is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in budgeting, project scheduling, and quality control processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Experience in building projects from inception through completion is highly desirable.
