Part-time RN

OVERVIEW:

Assist Adult Day Center staff and Seniors in maintaining a quality Adult Day program. Assist members with medical needs, reporting, records, and care. Sign off on all mandatory reporting.

REPORTS TO:

Adult Day Director

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Direct member contact care. Assist members with Activities of Daily Living as needed and/or prescribed in the participant’s Individual Care Plan (ICP).
• Prepare ICPs in conjunction with the Care Team with emphasis on activities that will assist participants in achieving their ICP goals.
• Review participant progress or impediments to progress in activities and goal achievement with the Team every 6 months. Revise ICP as needed to accomplish the participants’ Plan goals
• Contact families, case managers or doctors as needed.
• Provide in-service training for staff and or participants once a month.
• Stay current on the professional trainings required for the position.
• Maintain accurate participant documentation, i.e. ICPs, blood pressure readings, weights, etc.
• Report to Adult Day Center Director with any unusual incidents or changes with regard to participants.
• Cooperatively works with and interacts with co-workers and volunteers.
• Respect participant confidentiality.
• Treat all participants, staff, caseworkers, family members, building tenants and others with dignity and respect.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Registered Nurse License/ Degree with at least 1 year experience.
• Experience with people with disabilities and/or elderly people preferred
• Demonstrates a compassionate caring nature
• Good communication skills
• Accurately record and maintain records and participant documentation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
