Job Description:
• Candidates must have a minimum of 12 years of general BA experience.
• Facilitation of requirements elicitation meetings; experience with gap fit analysis and requirements refinement.
• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standard (including Legacy, Core, and Emerging technologies), business process mapping, and reengineering. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
Required Skills:
Candidates must have a minimum of 12 years of general BA experience
Minimum of 7 years conducting business process review and requirements elicitation and documentation
Minimum of 5 years developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development project(s)
Minimum of 2 years working directly with senior management in facilitating discussions to determine strategy, develop road maps and/or gain consensus to resolve opposing positions
Minimum of 2 years supporting the development of or compliance to statement of work and/or other work agreements/contracts
Minimum of 2 years working on projects developing/implementing IT solutions for public use
Minimum of 1 year working on IT infrastructure projects
Minimum of 1 year working with programs governed by state and/or federal regulations
Bachelor's Degree Required

Tasks:
- Facilitates meetings with the technical team and business client.
- Gathers requirements and project specifications by leading requirement sessions independently
- Maintain backlog of work items in Azure DevOps
- Manage project tasks, timelines, and communication between business product owner and development team associated with the Change Management lifecycle
- Track sprints and ticket progress in Azure DevOps
- Ensures the team is adhering to the department change management policies
- Acts as a liaison with State of Michigan auditors
- Maintains documentation on the project SharePoint Site.
- Must be detail oriented and a critical thinker
- Provide management with information such as project status reports and resource demand projections.
Skills Required
- Exposure to Complex IT web Applications, within the past 5 years - 5 Years
- Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements - 5 Years
- Experience in a role, as a business analyst, supporting a software development project, in the past 5 years - 5
- Ability to lead meetings, conduct training & information sessions, communicate at a level appropriate to the audience, make oral and written reports and presentations - 5 years
- Proficiency with MS Office - 3 years
- Experience working as a liaison between the development team and project manager or business client in a software development project - 2 years
- Understanding of SDLC (Software development life cycles.
- Experience with Azure DevOps; including creating User Stories and queries - 1 year
Skills Preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle - 2 years
