We are looking for a talented Sample Maker to join our team. The Sample Maker will be responsible for constructing high-quality samples of garments based on design specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail and strong sewing skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with product design and product development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
� Create prototypes and samples of garments, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
� Collaborate with designers to understand their vision and translate it into physical samples.
� Cut all pattern pieces and components from various fabrics and trims.
� After fittings make adjustments to samples for proper fit and construction.
� Maintain an organized workspace and keep track of materials and samples.
� Assist in developing new techniques and processes to improve sample development and suggest efficiencies in production.
� Communicate effectively with the design and production teams regarding timelines and project updates.
Qualifications:
� High school diploma or equivalent.
� Proven experience as a Sample Maker or similar role in the fashion industry.
� Strong sewing and garment construction skills, with proficiency in various sewing techniques.
� Familiarity with CAD software and patternmaking is a plus.
� Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
� Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
� Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines
