Position Overview :
A prestigious general contractor with over 50 years of history in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a motivated Project Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience in commercial construction. This role is integral to supporting the successful execution of large-scale projects ranging from $20 million to $80 million. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in construction processes, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Procore.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist project managers and superintendents in planning and coordinating construction activities.
- Support project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders, using Procore.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely communication and execution.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, reporting on progress and identifying potential issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
