What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Intern position at JRI Inc?
Glenhaven Academy is a residential treatment setting for adolescents that specializes in trauma informed care. Glenhaven provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff.
During Your Internship You Will :
Receive both individual and group supervision.
Participate in weekly clinical meetings, SMART trainings and clinical groups.
Support the overall needs of the clinical department and program.
Support students in the milieu and school setting.
Have the opportunity to do adjunctive case work with 1-2 clients through partnering with a Masters-level clinician and facilitating an additional individual therapy session each week.
Complete all documentation related to the clinical chart including individual and group progress notes and treatment plans.

Requirements :
Minimum working towards a Master's degree or above in the mental health field (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or LMFT).
LMHC supervision available. Cannot take LICSW supervision requirements at this time.
Our program has internship availabilities for Fall 2024, Winter 2024 and Spring 2025.
Please note : At this time, we are prioritizing students who can complete either both their practicum and internship at the program or just their internship. We do not accept practicum-only students due to the level of care we provide and need students to be on-site more frequently.
Clinical interest in working with children / adolescents is required and familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment preferred.
Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
Background and driving record checks will be performed.
