JRI's Program RISE is a multi-service program serving the Metrowest area. RISE offers free confidential HIV counseling, testing and referrals, STI and Hepatitis testing, HIV Case Management, Housing Search & Advocacy, Peer Support Services, LGBT services, Overdose Prevention and Education, Needle Exchange, community education programs on HIV, STIs, viral Hepatitis, harm reduction, and LGBTQ cultural competency.
The Digital Health Engagement Specialist will support the services of Program RISE, ensuring the program is responding to the needs to community. Leveraging on social media, the RiseOn app and RiseOn Mobile van to improving access to care and services to members of marginalized communities across Metrowest. Implementing harm reduction approaches to care, syringe services, naloxone distribution, case management, peer support, HIV / STI screening, care and navigation, and LGBTQIA services
Supervision
The RISE Digital Health Engagement Specialist is a full-time position and reports directly to the Program Director of Program RISE. This is a hybrid role.
Salary : $45,000
Responsibilities :
- Develop technology-based client engagement tools to broaden accessibility to resources.
- Develop and execute client engagement strategies to increase the utilization and adoption of RiseOn and other digital health tools.
- Create and manage social media content and materials that promote programming.
- Assist in the development of marketing campaigns and materials to promote health access.
- Collaborate with RISE teams to deliver educational content and resources.
- Collaborate with community agencies and service providers.
- Collaborate with Program Managers of Infectious Disease services, HIV client services and Harm Reduction services to respond to community requests and improve access to services.
- Monitor and analyze engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of engagement strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital health and client engagement.
- Ensure that services maintain culturally-responsive, trauma-informed, and harm reduction approaches.
- Remain current and informed regarding HIV / AIDS, STIs, Viral Hepatitis, Overdose prevention, Harm Reduction.
- Gather feedback from users to inform development and enhancements.
- Participate in advisory committees, external meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Participate in other meetings and planning initiatives across the Agency, and JRI Health Division.
- Adhere to all JRI and JRI Health policies and procedures.
- Participate in all required quality assurance activities.
- Perform other operational task as requested by the Program Director.
