What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver Advocate position at JRI?
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our support and direct care team at Berkshire Meadows. Our organization offers a wide range of services and programs for individuals with complex medical, intellectual, and developmental differences.
Compensation
Our competitive hourly rate is $19.50. Additionally, we offer a sign-on bonus of $1,500, paid in two installments of $750 each after 3 and 6 months of employment. We also provide referral bonuses of $1,000 for full-time employees and $500 for part-time employees referred.
Job Responsibilities
This position involves working Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You will assist with providing direct care to children and adults with developmental disabilities, including meal preparation, dressing, bathing, and engaging in residential activities. You will work as an integral part of an active and engaged team.
Requirements
- You must be 21 years or older.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- You must be able to establish clear professional boundaries and consistently implement all policies and procedures.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
