My Life My Choice is a survivor-led program through Justice Resource Institute working to end the commercial sexual exploitation of children. We believe that no one should be bought or sold. We offer a continuum of survivor-led services, including Survivor Mentoring, intensive case management, group work, mental health services, exploitation prevention programming and solutions, and professional training and advocacy. At the heart of My Life My Choice, Survivor Mentors are adult survivors of the commercial sex industry who are paired with minors who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation or are at very high risk of exploitation. The Clinical Supervisor directly supervises up to 10 Survivor Mentors. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will provide essential guidance, support, and professional development to the Survivor Mentoring team. Through collaboration with Survivor Mentors, you will ensure that the youth served receive services utilizing a trauma-informed approach to treatment. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will coordinate and facilitate all Survivor Empowerment Team Professional Development (SETPD) meetings to promote learning and knowledge of the most current interventions for commercially exploited youth.
The Clinical Supervisor may also either serve as a member of the My Life My Choice Training Team or provide one-on-one clinical support to a small caseload of mentees. Additionally at times you will provide crisis response for Survivor Mentors, including acting as a liaison to the Department of Children and Families (DCF) as needed and filing 51as. And to maintain complete and accurate data collection and documentation to support the Survivor Mentor program's evaluation and monitoring efforts, and to provide administrative and operational support as needed.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Holds a Master's degree in Social work or counseling, and is Independently licensed, LICSW or LMHC.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising direct service staff and / or clinical staff.
- Knowledge of, and experience with, vulnerable youth with complex trauma, with exposure to commercial sexual exploitation.
- Positive attitude and belief in the hope of recovery from commercial sexual exploitation for youth of all genders.
- Demonstrated competence in care coordination with human service / health care providers.
- Experience and success in training service providers in small and large settings.
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license and full use of a registered, inspected and insured vehicle.
