ERP Project Manager - Peoplesoft, Oracle, OR SAP experience is acceptable for this role
Strong financials experience such as GL, AP, AR, Order to Cash
Preference is for a local candidate to NYC.
Long term contract opportunity
Must have managed large ERP projects. HCM projects are a plus.
The Project Manager is responsible for the following items:
- Bachelor of Science Degree
- 5-10 years prior experience providing project management services for ERP Systems Implementations (such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, Workday, SAP, Lawson, etc.), ideally in a structured Project/Program Office environment across multiple financial modules.
- Must possess extensive knowledge and proven track record in the use of project management methodologies and PPM tools. This should include knowledge and use of resource management practices and change management techniques.
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Project Visio, MS Project and MS Word Skills
- Demonstrable experience of working in fast paced project environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Courteous, professional, prompt, with attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, strong organization skills and a desire to learn
- Strong proponent of a culture of continuous and incremental improvements through technology, improved skills and processes
In addition to strong PM skills and system implementation experience, the successful candidate will also need to have subject matter expertise in business processes such as:
- Financials Modules: Accounts Payable, Expenses, General Ledger, Project Costing, Asset Management, Cash Management, Lease Administration, AR (Grants), Billing (Grants), Contracts (Grants), Grants Management, etc.
