Dispatcher

Position Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our production team at JRV Home Services. The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation activities such as timely service visits and maintain effective communication between drivers and management teams. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

1. Coordinate and schedule transportation for technicians, ensuring timely service visits.

2. Utilize GPS and management systems to track service visits to optimize schedules and routes

3. Maintain accurate data entry for all dispatch related activities, including visit details and driver assignments.

4. Communicate effectively with drivers via phone systems to provide updates and address any issues that arise during transit.

5. Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams to ensure efficient scheduling.

6. Monitor vehicle locations and status updates to ensure adherence to schedules.

7. Assist in transportation planning by analyzing routes and making recommendations for improvements.

Education/Experience:

Proven experience in dispatching or logistics is preferred.

High School Diploma or GED

Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.

Familiarity with GPS technology and transportation management systems.

Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is a plus.

Construction experience a plus.

Proficiency in using phone systems for effective communication.
