Role Description
As an Employee Benefits Consultant at JS Benefits Group, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to employers on their group benefits and HR needs. This is a full-time role located in Newtown, PA, with flexibility for some remote work. Your day-to-day tasks will include consulting with clients to understand their needs, recommending appropriate benefit solutions, conducting market research, managing accounts, and building strong relationships with clients and carriers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee benefits group sales or a related field
- Strong knowledge of group health, life, dental, vision, disability, and voluntary benefits
- Understanding of HR consulting, healthcare reform, and other compliance services
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and carriers
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Human Resources) is preferred
- Industry certifications (e.g., CEBS, PHR, SHRM-CP) are a plus
