Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team.
This could be part time or full time.
Hours can be flexible, but this is day shift position.
This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are clean, well-maintained, and conducive to a safe and pleasant environment for all employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform various cleaning and maintenance tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness in commercial spaces.
- Execute custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on facilities to ensure all areas are functioning properly
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
- Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
Requirements
- Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Familiarity with custodial practices and facilities maintenance procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining a clean environment.
