Job Description-:
Client has an immediate need for a senior program manager w/strong financial background. This candidate must have experience with investment book of record (IBOR) data migrations and/or middle office operations outsourcing. Minimum 8-10 years of program management experience is required.
The Program Manager role sits in the Transformation Office (TO), which is part of the Chief Operating Office (COO) Group. The role will be specifically supporting a Global Investment Operations sponsored program that will migrate our Portfolio Accounting and Security Mastering data and ops functions from legacy end-of-life platforms to third-party service provider strategic platforms. The program is a mission-critical priority for the firm.
The role will report into the Program Director and comprises one of 4 Program Manager roles, each responsible for a pillar of the program; as such the role works closely in partnership with the other Program Managers to ensure cross-pillar dependencies and outcomes are managed and delivered effectively.
The Program Manager will manage their work in adherence to the Enterprise Change Policy and standards.
Principal Responsibilities
Direct a large-scale, complex program with underlying projects spanning multiple stakeholders.
Partner with business & technology sponsors and stakeholders to ensure the successfully delivery of the program to the required and agreed timescales, budget and quality.
Understand the sponsoring business case, business & technology impact and delivered benefits.
Run effective Steering Committees, Working Groups including facilitation, programmatic material, agendas, actions, minutes and executive updates to Sponsors and senior stakeholders.
Implement appropriate governance for the program and ensure adherence.
Facilitate and drive discussions to ensure the detail is understood and captured, drive to mitigate risks and resolve issue.
Facilitate all operational checkpoint / tollgate activities throughout the lifecycle of the program.
Drive escalations through governance and directly with sponsors and stakeholders as necessary.
Develop the program charter, integrated program plan, resource plan, contingency plan, and related program management artifacts.
Evaluate trade-offs between program size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value.
Validate financial forecasts and provide on-going reconciliation of resources and other related program expenditures.
Manage the program according to the Enterprise Change Policy and standards.
Update relevant stakeholders of program status and represent the program at governance forums.
Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall and integrated delivery plan.

Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
10 years of total relevant work experience.
Specific program management experience with Investment Book of Record (IBOR) and/or Middle Office data and operations change.
Experience of full life-cycle program management in a Financial Services setting (Asset Manager, Capital Markets or Asset Servicing organization), delivering change in the following areas:
o Data Management & Governance.
o Business Process Change.
o Organizational Change.
o Testing.
o Data Conversion / Migration.
o Operating Model change.
Specific experience managing a program with third-party service providers in a financial services setting (IBOR and/or Middle Office a strong preference).
Ability to organize and direct quality time-bound work efforts in a matrixed environment.
Demonstrated successful mastery of major components of the Project Lifecycle Development in the context of major systems implementations or migrations.
Demonstrated high level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
