Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams and regulatory bodies to support compliance initiatives.
- Analyze and interpret banking regulations, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
- Work with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to regulatory changes.
- Prepare and review regulatory reports, documentation, and submissions to governing authorities.
- Identify gaps in compliance and recommend process improvements to mitigate risk.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with regulatory agencies and internal teams.
- Conduct impact assessments for regulatory changes and assist in the implementation of necessary adjustments.
- 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services, with a focus on regulatory work.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Experience in interacting with regulatory bodies (e.g., OCC, FINRA, SEC, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation.
- Experience with financial institutions is a plus.
- Knowledge of Basel III, Dodd-Frank, AML/KYC regulations, or other financial regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with business process improvement and risk assessment methodologies.
- Prior exposure to data analysis and reporting tools.
