Our client, a top tier Management & Strategy Consulting firm is looking for an experienced Techno-Functional Data Architect with extensive experience in Market Data (Bloomberg, Refinitiv) and Cloud Data Platforms (AWS) . The ideal candidate should have 7-10 years of recent banking experience and a deep understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and financial market data solutions.
Qualification & Responsibilities :
- Develop and optimize Cloud Data Platforms (AWS) for storage, processing, and analytics.
- Lead the end-to-end data lifecycle , including ingestion, transformation, and governance.
- Work closely with trading, risk, and analytics teams to enhance market data utilization.
- Define and enforce data quality, security, and compliance standards in alignment with banking regulations.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to bridge the gap between functional requirements and technical execution.
- Optimize ETL workflows, data pipelines, and real-time streaming capabilities.
- Provide architectural guidance for data warehouses, data lakes, and API integrations .
- 7-10 years of recent banking experience , with a focus on market data.
- Strong knowledge of Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and other financial market data providers .
- Expertise in AWS cloud data platforms (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, EMR, etc.).
- Solid experience with data modeling, SQL, and NoSQL databases .
- Hands-on knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance in financial services .
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java for data processing and analytics.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and business stakeholders .
