Job Description :
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to manage Market Data Reporting processes. This role involves overseeing exchange data usage, ensuring compliance with exchange reporting policies, and maintaining data integrity within MDM (Market Data Management) systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of market data entitlements, vendor relationships, and exchange reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
Monthly Exchange Reporting :
- Oversee global exchange data usage across multiple vendors and direct connections.
- Manage non-display applications, usage types, vendor Datafeeds, and entitlement files.
- Ensure compliance with exchange reporting policies, formats, and portals.
- Prepare and submit vendor-based and direct exchange reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).
MDM Data Management & Vendor Entitlement Processing :
Update MDM with user IDs, services, costs, and exchange entitlements via upload handlers.Process vendor entitlement files using MDM's dedicated handlers, including :Bloomberg Terminal, Bloomberg B-PIPE, Factset.Fidessa integration with MDSL.Monthly vendor entitlement file uploads using MDM's generic handlers.Utilize macros to format vendor entitlement files into MDSL's upload templates before processing.Generate and validate monthly CME, NYSE CTA, and UTP MISU inventory reports.Exchange Non-Display Agreements & Licensing Compliance :
Track and manage exchange non-display agreements, application usage, vendor connections, and regional compliance.Maintain knowledge of exchange commercial policies and licensing structures.Ensure completion of mandatory quarterly and annual exchange usage declarations.Stay updated on exchange policy changes and act accordingly to maintain compliance.Engage with exchanges to obtain and validate correct licensing agreements.Compliance & Monitoring :
Oversee DNM (Data Needs Management) monitoring for Bloomberg.Ensure Bloomberg BPIPE compliance for Display and Non-Display applications.Advise business teams on BPIPE usage rules, Market Data fields, and appropriate licensing.Provide guidance on different BPS (Bloomberg Pricing Services) and Market Data fields based on usage requirements.Qualifications & Experience :
Proven experience in Market Data Reporting, Exchange Data Usage, and Vendor Entitlements.Strong knowledge of MDM platforms, entitlement files, and vendor Datafeeds.Familiarity with Bloomberg, Factset, Fidessa, and other market data vendors.Experience with exchange compliance, reporting formats, and licensing agreements.Proficiency in Excel, including macros and data formatting for reporting automation.Ability to analyze and interpret exchange policies and apply necessary actions.Strong communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and external vendors
