Our client, a top tier Management & Strategy Consulting firm is looking for an experienced Risk & Asset Management Consultant to join a top tier US Bank. The ideal candidate will have experience in a First Line of D fense function, a solid understanding of non-financial risks, and familiarity with Asset Management operations. Consulting experience, including process mapping and documentation, is a plus.
Qualification & Responsibilities :
- Act as a First Line of Defense (FLOD) resource, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Apply basic knowledge of risk frameworks and controls, including Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs).
- Assess non-financial risks specific to Asset Management and develop strategies to manage them.
- Understand Asset Management products across public and private markets.
- Work with institutional clients such as pensions, endowments, and family offices.
- Navigate front, middle, and back-office operations within Asset Management firms.
- Support Advisory and Outsourced Chief Investment Office (OCIO) functions.
- Perform process mapping and workflow analysis to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and document procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize Excel and PowerPoint for reporting, analysis, and presentations.
- Strong knowledge of risk management, particularly within Asset Management.
- Experience in a First Line of Defense role with an understanding of controls.
- Familiarity with institutional Asset Management clients and operations.
- Proven ability to document processes, create procedures, and present insights effectively.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
