Job Description : Role Overview :
Role Overview :
We are seeking a Senior SAP CO Functional Consultant with over 15-20 years of experience to provide expertise in various SAP Costing modules, including Product Cost Planning, Cost Object Controlling, Material Ledger, and Profitability Analysis.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in multiple industries such as Manufacturing, Pharma, Food, Oil & Gas, and Public Sector.
The consultant will leverage their deep knowledge of SAP G / L, AP, AR, AA, Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders (IO), and other integrated modules, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery.
Primary Responsibilities :
SAP Costing Expertise :
- Lead the configuration and implementation of Product Costing, Profitability Analysis (COPA), Cost Object Controlling, and Material Ledger in SAP S / 4HANA and earlier versions.
- Analyze and define costing structures and processes for various business models, including Make-to-Stock, Make-to-Order, and Engineer-to-Order environments.
Inter-Module Integration :
- Oversee the integration of SAP CO with other modules such as MM, SD, PP, PM, and HR.
- Manage and configure Intercompany transactions in SAP CO and Transfer Pricing for accurate profit distribution and reporting.
Project Management & Methodology :
- Lead AS-IS / TO-BE analysis, Fit-Gap assessments, and blueprint creation for SAP CO configurations.
- Drive requirement analysis, Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), system configuration, and ensure successful completion of FRICE objects (Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Enhancements).
Data Conversion and Testing :
- Manage data conversion activities and ensure the proper migration of master data and transactional data to SAP.
- Lead unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), providing support and issue resolution.
End-User Training & Support :
- Conduct end-user training on SAP CO processes, ensuring smooth adoption and usage of SAP systems.
- Provide Go-Live support and guidance during the month-end close strategy, ensuring efficient month-end closing and accurate financial reporting.
Cross-Industry Experience & Knowledge Sharing :
- Leverage deep industry knowledge across Manufacturing, Pharma, Food, Oil & Gas, and others to provide tailored solutions.
Required Qualifications :
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
Experience :
- 15-20 years of hands-on SAP experience, with a strong focus on Product Costing, CO-PA (Profitability Analysis), and Intercompany transactions.
- Minimum of 10 years of expertise in SAP Costing, Profitability Analysis, and related areas.
- Proven experience across industries like Manufacturing, Pharma, Food, Oil & Gas, Retail, and more.
Technical Skills (Must-have) :
- Expert knowledge in SAP CO modules, including Product Costing, COPA, Cost Object Controlling, Material Ledger, and Profitability Analysis.
- Experience with SAP G / L, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA, IO, PS, JVA, BPC, FSCM, and S / 4HANA.
- SAP Certified HANA Application Consultant.
Nice-to-Have Skills :
Strong Accounting Expertise and understanding of accounting principles as they relate to costing and financial reporting.
