Job Description:
A leading Financial company is looking for a Senior Front End Engineer - React to develop commercial software for financial planning applications. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to build innovative solutions that enhance users' financial lives. The ideal candidate has experience with modern front-end technologies and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product and Planners to define solutions
- Design, develop, and test code using React and Golang on AWS infrastructure
- Work in a ScrumBan development process and commit code in Git/Bitbucket
- Develop and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, regression, performance)
- Participate in pair programming, daily standups, and weekly tech discussions
- Engage in performance improvements and contribute to company-wide hackathons
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a startup environment
- Proficiency in React 16 and relational databases (MySQL preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS services (ECS, EC2, RDS, S3)
- Familiarity with REST APIs and Clean Architecture
- Experience with frontend toolchains (Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt)
- Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks (Mocha/Chai, BrowserStack, Puppeteer)
- Experience with responsive design and PWAs
- Familiarity with Docker and Linux environments
- Experience with FinTech APIs (Plaid, Finicity, Yodlee, APEX, Orion)
Expected Resume Standards:
- Clear demonstration of React, AWS, and modern front-end development expertise
- Strong portfolio or experience highlighting complex web applications
- Indication of collaborative experience in agile environments
Code samples or links to GitHub/Bitbucket repositories are a plus
Salary : $118,900 - $163,500
