Job Title- WebMethods Admin

Project Location Onsite in Brentwood, Tennessee or Nashville TN (3-4 days in a week)

Duration- 12 months contract

Job Details

• Expert in Software AG webMethods Administration (Installation, setup, configuration, documentation)
• Strong skillset specifically for WM Api Gateways, Clustering, Caching etc
• Configurations related to ports, certificates, clustering (Internal datastore, terracotta), dashboards, sizing, software installations, security configurations and related integrations using REST or SOAP based APIs.
• Experience in RedHat Linux, VMware, F5 Network, Citrix NetScaler
• Experience in API management using Software AG API Gateway, Universal Messaging, File transfers using SAG Active Transfer, Identify and configure alerts for monitoring.
• Experience in building the platforms with cluster configurations and quick to diagnosis the issues.
• Experienced with Software AG webMethods Upgrade projects and implementations.
• Experienced with CI/CD in Software AG webMethods using tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub.
• Should be able to analyze and provide solutions quickly to restore system after critical failures.
• Experience on managing and fixing critical issues on a medium to large scale platform implementations.
• Platform and Operational experience in handling medium to large scale integration projects.
• Good Analytical and leadership skills to quickly act on critical/production impacting issues.
• Should have experience to manage 3-5 member team, work with client Architect and technical team independently and provide best practice along with road maps.
  

Additionally Need Hands On With

User Access Management :

• Create users or roles based on the requirement for MFT Dropbox, Logger Utility and MWS.
• Perform a quarterly review of the TM list with administrative function roles.
  
  

Deployments

• Assist in deploying code for Ad-hoc releases or Project releases to Performance and Production Environments.
• Experience in various deployment methods (Jenkins/WM Deployer, CI/CD etc.)
• Experience in version control tools - (GIT HUB and BIT Bucket)
• Ensure ACLs are mapped to the deployed packages and services.
• Provide support during validations after performance and production deployments.
  
  

Integration Platform Patching

• Perform a quarterly review of the available patches/fixes on Integration Platform and plan to install based on the value the fixes provide to the environment.
  
  

Integration Platform Product Upgrades And Planning

• Review release notes for new product releases and prepare a plan for upgrade if the new version provides business value to Tractor.
• Planning, configuration, and testing of new installations
  
  

Monitoring And Provide Daily Administrative Support Of Environment

• Perform daily health check for all applications.
• Review and respond to Optimize for Infrastructure, Splunk and Infrastructure monitoring email alerts in a timely manner.
• Review SSL Certificate expiration date. Ensure the process for certificate renewals and communications are done in a timely manner.
  
  

Creating Utilities And Proof Of Concepts

• Build or develop utilities that will reduce manual repeated tasks and auto-recovery of failed application processes.
• Build and test open-source tools that has the potential to add value to EIP platform.
  
  

Performance Testing Support

• Support performance testing efforts for the assigned projects or continuous readiness by ensuring environments are available with the latest production ready code before the test.
• Communicate effectively with performance engineers on any changes to EIP environments and ensure all issues during the performance tests are reported.
  
  

Performance Tuning

• Create a weekly report for services and API with high response times using Insight (when it is functional) and Kibana. Investigate the cause for the high response and research for solutions that can help reduce the response times.
• Create a weekly report for application servers that have been consistently sending alerts for high CPU, Memory or JVM heap. Investigate and research for solutions that can assist in maintaining a stable environment.
  
  

Set best practice and guidelines in joint with EIP Architect.

• Review and propose updates/changes to best practice guidelines.
• Ensure any changes to best practices are communicated with EIP Architect.
