Commercial Lines Account Manager 20 hours per week

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to take over our Commercial Lines position. You will provide customer service to assigned customers and/ or policies as well as soliciting new business.

Must have a valid California P&C License.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Facilitates Broker in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospects

• Prepare quotes and proposals
• Oversees marketing, negotiates rates, reviews quotes and coverages for accuracy
• Formulates summaries and/or schedules of coverage for clients

• Look over policies for accuracy and review contracts

• Contributes in the claims process as directed by management, including claim submission, follow-up and overall communication
• Collection of fees, reconciliation and resolution of any outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicing date

• Initiates renewal process for existing clients, and discusses and creates renewal strategy with Broker
• Evaluates and compares current exposures

• Develops renewal or new business specifications for marketing

Education / Experience

Associates Degree

5 Years of experience; Valid Insurance License

Must be inclined to meet Continued Education Requirements for license renewal

Skills

Excellent customer service skills

Great teamwork

Outstanding leadership, problem-solving, and time-management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of EZlynx is a plus
