Job Overview:
The Venue Manager/Venue Assistant will play a pivotal role in driving sales and overseeing the successful operation of events at our venue. This position requires a highly motivated, organized individual with exceptional customer service skills and a proactive sales approach. The ideal candidate will focus on securing new bookings, building client relationships, and managing all aspects of the venue’s event operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Actively promote the venue to prospective clients through outbound sales efforts (calls, emails, site visits, networking).
- Respond to inquiries promptly and provide detailed information on packages, pricing, and available dates.
- Conduct venue tours with potential clients, highlighting key features and selling points to close bookings.
- Create and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue goals.
- Assist with marketing efforts, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and attending local industry events to generate leads.
Event Management & Operations:
- Manage the logistics and coordination of events, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly from booking to event day.
- Oversee vendor coordination and communicate with clients to ensure their vision is realized.
- Ensure compliance with all venue policies, health, and safety regulations during events.
- Handle any on-site challenges during events professionally and efficiently.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather client feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in sales, event planning, or hospitality management, with a strong sales track record.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by events.
Preferred:
