JSI operates distribution facilities in Fall River, Chicago, Atlanta, and Denver. Our expansive footprint is leveraged to service 2,500 of the finer kitchen and bath dealers in the United States with all-wood cabinets shipped as quickly as the next day.
We currently have an opportunity available for a Controller. The Controller is responsible for managing and directing the accounting operations of the company, including the production and presentation of financial reports, and the maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records.
Key Responsibilities
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 7-10 years of operational accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
- Coordinate with outside CPA firm for preparation of annual Review Report, external financial statements, and annual tax reporting.
- Accounting Operations:
- Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, customer credits and collections, fixed asset records, general ledger accounting.
- Strategic Planning:
- Support the CEO and senior management in strategic planning and financial decision-making.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to help shape the strategic direction of the company.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and prepare variance analysis reports.
- Provide financial analysis and support to management for decision-making.
