Key Responsibilities
- Product Consolidation: Consolidate cabinetry items from different areas of the warehouse, ensuring they are stored efficiently and in accordance with product specifications.
- Inventory Management: Accurately track and record inventory levels, ensuring products are readily available and easily accessible for order fulfillment.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment by arranging products in designated storage areas, labeling shelves, and ensuring efficient space utilization.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and damage and report any discrepancies to your lead.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other warehouse departments, including inventory, receiving and order picking, to ensure the smooth flow of operations.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and best practices to ensure the well-being of yourself and others in the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment, RF scanner experience a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with forklift/ pallet jacks) and operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Capability to move and stack heavy cabinetry products.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
