Job Title: Google Street View Camera Operator Driver

Location: Pittsburgh, PA   (Multiple Locations)

Duration: 3 Months (Potential Extension Based on Client Needs)

Required: Valid Driver’s License

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Google Street View Camera Operator Driver to operate specialized vehicles equipped with cameras and sensors used for capturing panoramic street-level images for Google Maps. This role combines driving with technical operation, requiring an individual to handle both the vehicle and the camera system safely and efficiently. The project is expected to last 3 months, with the possibility of an extension based on the client's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Google Street View Vehicles: Safely drive the vehicle equipped with high-tech cameras and sensors for capturing 360-degree panoramic street-level images for Google Maps.
• Operate Camera Equipment: Manage the specialized cameras and sensors during the drive, ensuring proper capture of images and data.
• Route and Schedule Adherence: Follow predefined routes and schedules to gather the necessary data from various locations across the region or cities.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained and in good working order. Report any technical issues related to the camera equipment or vehicle.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all legal and safety regulations while driving the vehicle and capturing images.
• Data Quality: Ensure high-quality image capture by managing camera systems and keeping track of data as required by the project guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Prior driving experience, preferably in similar technical or camera-based roles.
• Ability to work independently and follow precise instructions and schedules.
• Comfortable operating specialized camera and sensor equipment during the driving process.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

•            MUST have a valid driver's license and are permitted to drive in the posted location

•            MUST have a minimum of 2-5 years of driving experience (including at least 1 year driving in the posted county), and 2 years or more of professional driving (i.e. Uber, Taxi, Delivery Driver, etc.)

•            MUST have clean driving record

•            MUST submit to and pass a Background check, this is a ZERO tolerance policy

•            MUST LIVE IN POSTED CITY, THIS IS NOT A TRAVELING POSITION!

•            MUST be able to reach the roof of the vehicle and vehicle mount assembly (able to use a short step ladder to access camera)

•            MUST be able to pass a 5 Panel Drug Screen or Oral Fluid Drug Screen as law permits

•            Have experience with android devices, to include cell phones and tablets, and should be technically savvy

•            Understand basic computer skills and be able to write legible emails

•            Be able to work long hours in stressful environments

•            Due to sensitivity of equipment and project, you must consent to random drug screening throughout entire project
