Job Summary:

Are you a proactive and visionary leader with a passion for fostering a world-class safety culture? As the HSE Manager, you will lead our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) department, driving strategic initiatives to ensure safety excellence across our construction operations. Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), you will play a key role in influencing corporate decision-making, implementing safety best practices, and maintaining full regulatory compliance while ensuring the continuous improvement of our safety culture.

In this critical role, you will also be responsible for developing and expanding our HSE department, mentoring future safety leaders, and enhancing the capabilities of our team to meet evolving safety challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• HSE Strategy & Leadership: Lead the HSE department and set the strategy to align with business goals. Ensure high-level reporting to senior leadership on performance and compliance.
• Enterprise-Level Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with all national and international regulations (OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001). Lead company-wide audits, inspections, and initiatives.
• Safety Metrics & Performance: Develop and manage safety KPIs. Provide detailed performance reviews to the CAO and senior leadership, focusing on trends and risk mitigation.
• Risk Management & Crisis Preparedness: Oversee risk management strategies, hazard identification, crisis planning, and post-incident investigations.
• Department Growth & Development: Expand the HSE department to meet the needs of the organization. Recruit top talent and develop career progression frameworks.
• Training & Mentorship: Design and lead training programs for new and existing HSE staff. Cultivate future leaders through mentorship initiatives.
• Leadership & Influence: Mentor a team of HSE professionals and enhance leadership accountability in safety practices across the company.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Drive the adoption of new safety technologies, industry best practices, and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications: NEBOSH Diploma, CSP (Certified Safety Professional), ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent.
• Experience: 10 years in senior HSE leadership roles in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in leading HSE departments and reporting to executive leadership.
• Expertise in regulatory compliance, crisis management, and organizational risk mitigation.
