Overview
JSI Services LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Finished Blade Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in earthwork, asphalt, and heavy equipment operation, with a focus on finishing tasks that ensure the quality and integrity of our projects. As a Finisher, you will play a crucial role in the completion of various construction activities, working closely with other team members to achieve project goals. John Deer 772G and 772GP Blades 772G has Antlers, GPS through SmartGrade.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as blades, bulldozers, backhoes, and water trucks to assist in finishing tasks on construction sites.
- Perform paving operations and ensure proper surface preparation for various projects.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment on-site.
- Operate motor graders to achieve fine grading and precise finishes
- Read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and site plans
- Work with GPS and laser-guided systems for accurate grading
- Ensure site safety and follow all company and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with site crews to complete projects on time
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finished Blade Operator
- Ability to work in various weather and terrain conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Must be reliable and a team player
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation.
- Experience in construction site operations, particularly in finishing roles.
- Proficiency in operating blades and other relevant machinery.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail during finishing processes.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing project needs.

Pay: $18.74 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Extended hours
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
