Description
The CAD Technician will prepare CAD maps for telecommunications infrastructure projects. Projects include preparing designs, staking maps, and as-built maps for Fiber-to-the-Premise (FTTP) construction projects.
Qualifications
Education :
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience :
Detailed experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D / MAP3D associated GIS toolsets that are utilized in the mapping of telecommunications outside plant networks.
Experience with QGIS or Global Mapper is preferred. The creation / manipulation of shapefiles is required.
Google Earth PRO and file structure.
General computer knowledge and MS Office suite.
Experience with preparing CAD documentation for telecom service providers is preferred.
Skills :
Requires good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to work on multiple projects.
Additional Information
Work Schedule :
This is not a remote position.
Compensation / Benefits :
Pay $45.48 an hour.
