JSI is seeking a highly creative and experienced Creative Team Leader to join our dynamic Marketing Brand Creative Team, leading and executing creative design efforts for both of our commercial furniture brands, JSI & KLEM. This pivotal role combines senior graphic design tasks with managerial responsibilities, overseeing junior designers, contractors and vendors, ensuring all creative outputs align with our brand standards, and fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration. The goal is to create fervent brand loyalty and provide an exceptional customer experience across all platforms, both digital and physical.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a highly creative mind, with a keen eye for visual detail, contemporary design aesthetics, and a passion for furniture, interiors, and design. As part of this team, the Creative Team Leader will collaborate with copywriters, rendering, photo and video artists, production crews, and other asset creation teams to create impactful creative content for print, digital, environmental, and other unique-format graphics.
The role combines conception and execution, requiring the development of innovative and compelling creative assets to support product launches, sales initiatives, and brand campaigns targeting the dealer and A&D communities. - Bachelor’s degree in the Graphic Design, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field field or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in Graphic Design, with experience in a creative leadership role preferred.
- Knowledge of the pre-press and printing process.
- Highly experienced with layout design, illustration and creating graphics
- Strong sense of visual hierarchy, use of color and typography
- Relationship with design – ability to recognize design trends, critical design eye, apply design thinking into a variety of tools and resources.
- Strong understanding of visual-verbal integration and premium design
- Robust attention to detail and a relentless desire for perfection
- Seasoned collaborator with an ability to lead and be led
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, shifting focus as needed to meet business priorities
