We seek several talented telecom Outside-Plant (OSP) Inspectors / Locators to support our strategic expansion . These positions will start in the Hope, AR area and extend toward Saint Little Rock, AR. Once completed, we will have additional projects located across the US and will support a client’s push to install 20,000 feet of fiber across the continental US.
This position is key to expertly supervising construction crews and cable / Hand-hole locations. Your job is to ensure construction contractors are placing fiber optic cable according to the customer’s requests (buried, underground, aerial) and engineering work prints (staking sheets), as well as providing daily and weekly updates and as-builts for the project.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Working on-site with the crews daily (in varied weather conditions).
- Ensure proper fiber placement, take sequential numbers from cable, locate handholes using a client-familiar locator, and ensure handholes are installed correctly and in the desired locations.
- Assist in establishing schedules, coordinating, monitoring workflow, and tracking cost expenditures.
- Preparing reports and documents and maintaining project records.
- Prepare asbuilts daily, showing sequential numbers, hand hole locations, marking splice points, and including GPS coordinates per hand hole.
- Provide quality control to ensure adherence to construction / engineering standards / specifications.
- Interacting with landowners, permit agencies, and other company departments.
