Job Description:
JSK is seeking a highly organized and dedicated Executive Housekeeper to oversee and manage all housekeeping operations. As an Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that our hotel maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and hygiene. You will lead a team of housekeepers, set cleaning schedules, inspect rooms and common areas, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, supervise, and train housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Establish housekeeping protocols and ensure that daily operations run smoothly.
- Monitor and ensure the cleanliness of all guest rooms, corridors, public spaces, and employee areas.
- Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure they meet hotel standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens, and make requisitions as needed.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Prepare and manage housekeeping budgets and departmental cost control.
- Maintain effective communication with the Front Desk and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Implement sustainable practices and environmentally friendly cleaning initiatives.
- Monitor and enforce OSHA safety standards, including safe handling of chemicals and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper, Assistant Housekeeper, or in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of housekeeping operations and cleaning standards.
- Familiarity with hotel property management software is a plus.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move housekeeping equipment and materials as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Hospitality or Hotel Management is a plus.
