Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner upon check-in and check-out.
- Assist guests with check-in/check-out procedures and ensure a smooth, efficient process.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries regarding room rates, services, and hotel amenities.
- Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person requests.
- Process guest payments and ensure accurate billing information is maintained.
- Provide guests with information about local attractions, dining options, transportation, and other hotel services.
- Ensure guest requests, complaints, and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Assist in maintaining the hotel’s front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary materials.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure an excellent stay.
- Monitor and maintain security of guest information and property.
- Lift, carry, and move luggage or other items as needed, with a requirement to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Assist with the preparation and management of daily guest reports and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure that all hotel policies and procedures are followed, including safety and emergency protocols.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move items up to 25 pounds (e.g., luggage).
- Previous experience in guest services, customer service, or hospitality is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and team members in a courteous and professional manner.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel property management systems is a plus.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for guest satisfaction.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain energy levels during long shifts.
