Job Title: Housekeeper

Location: JSK Hospitality – South Bend

Reports to: Executive Housekeeper

Job Overview:

JSK Hospitality is looking for a motivated and dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests by maintaining high standards in guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and ensure towels and amenities are replenished.
• Ensure proper stocking of guest supplies, including toiletries, linens, and paper goods.
• Report any maintenance issues, lost and found items, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas, including housekeeping carts and storage rooms.
• Assist with cleaning public spaces, including hallways, lobby, and restrooms as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ensure a high level of attention to detail and consistency in all aspects of cleaning.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Lift, carry, and move linens, towels, and equipment, with the ability to lift 25 pounds.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (25 pounds).
• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent guest service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for guests and the team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with energy and stamina.
