Job Description: Operations Supervisor

Skills Required:
- Hotel Management - One year (preferred)
- Hospitality - One year (preferred)
- Experience or knowledge of hotel and brand standard requirements
- Prior experience using Windows-based software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook highly preferred.
- Must possess leadership skills to motivate and train staff to ensure accomplishment of goals.
- Must have solid long-range planning and development skills.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Able to work a flexible schedule.
Primary Duties:
- Manage according to the brand standards and JSK standards to instill a passion for customer service in all associates of the hotel.
- Partner with the GM to recruit, develop, manage, and monitor performance of employees while making any recommendations for disciplinary or other actions.
- Supervise and manage the work of various departments within the hotel.
- Help develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure high-quality guest services, efficient operations, and adherence to safety regulations.
- Hire, train, and supervise staff, including setting performance standards, monitor progress, and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that the hotel meets quality standards, and identify areas that need improvement.
- Respond to customer feedback and issues.
- Ensure complaisance with healthy, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as hotel policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to the hotels operations
- Assist with creating schedules.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other shifts and departmental management
Guest Service:
- Offer guests assistance whenever possible.
- Responsible for resolving escalated customer relations issues.
- Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services.
- Must appropriately address guest requests to ensure customers are satisfied with the hotel’s services and accommodations.
- Responsible for positively representing and promoting the property.
- Ensures systems and procedures are in place and followed for guest safety and security.
Ongoing:
- Other Duties as Assigned
- Fills in for vacant shifts as needed.
- Assists with sales and marketing efforts as needed
