Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
Job Description
Provides Surface Warfare Coordination for combat systems and associated weapon systems expertise supporting the CSSQT Officer. Executes test plans and supports test team tasks for test plans and procedures, observing test events, developing test observation reports/deficiencies, developing test procedures, providing on-the-job training to shipboard technicians and operators in conjunction with system changes and tests.
Some knowledge of Navy combat systems and live fire testing processes is a plus. Applicant must be willing to travel and ride ships. Applicant will gain the ability to write test plans and procedures for surface and air warfare, will participate in all SSDS developmental and planning meetings associated with SSDS baseline upgrades to support CSSQT planning.

Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Active U.S. Security Clearance level Secret
- 5 years experience supporting weapon system testing on Carriers and Amphibious ship classes
- Travel 30% of the time
- High School Diploma or equivalent
