JSL is seeking a Security Special that will protect classified government information, monitor security procedures, ensure compliance with all aspects of the program including personnel, physical, and administrative security systems and procedures. You will be responsible for the following:
Required Skills
Applicants may be required to have an active DoD security clearance at the time of hire or the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance once hired. Applicants should read the job description and minimum qualification of each of the positions they are applying on to verify if they meet the clearance and other knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position. Selected candidates without a clearance will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.

Job Description
JSL is seeking a Security Special that will protect classified government information, monitor security procedures, ensure compliance with all aspects of the program including personnel, physical, and administrative security systems and procedures. You will be responsible for the following:
- Assist in conducting security briefings and security education programs briefings.
- Assist in investigating losses and security violations and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in maintaining classified storage and audits of documents.
- Maintain security oversight for closed areas.
- Maintain files for customers and audits.
- Assist in conducting bi-annual self-inspections.
- Interface directly with program management to address security items specific to each program/contract.
- Assist in providing briefings through public speaking, facilitated trainings, and written guidance.
- Process and protect personally identifiable information (PII) and other sensitive, personal information with regards to reporting responsibilities in a professional manner
- Assist in effectively applying physical and procedural security measures with minimal impact to business operations.
- Assist in maintaining, auditing, and evaluating industrial security program to provide a safe and secure environment to protect employees and company assets.
- Interpret and administer existing policies and develop, document, implement, and communicate revisions to existing policies or new policies, processes, and procedures.
- Assist in developing educational programs and preside over training sessions for all employees regarding security.
- Track security clearance investigations and perform administrative support functions to include DISS and e-QIP administration.
