Job Description:
The successful candidate shall provide support to programs including but not limited to the following: Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), AN/SPY-6 Family of Radars, AN/SPQ-9B Radar Set, Vertical Launching System (VLS), Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Mission Modules (MM), Over The Horizon (OTH), NATO Seasparrow Surface Missile System (NSSMS), Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM), Harpoon, Tomahawk and Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC).
1. Review and track logistics products to include compiling and inputting data in various databases, systems and applications.
2. Provide hardware development support.
3. Review and evaluate logistical impacts and incorporate updates to program documents.
4. Assist with meeting management support, which may include coordinating meetings, preparing presentation material, documenting proceedings, and completing action items and assignments resulting from these meetings.
5. Participate in various working groups and integrated product teams (IPTs) dedicated to the development and support of logistic products.
6. Support, coordinate, and interface with NSWC PHD, other Government activities, and various Contractor offices for meetings, program schedules, milestones, and product deliveries.
7. Support life cycle management of technical documentation.
8. Support technical documentation validation and verification events or Publication Support Assistance Teams (PUBSATs) on board ships or labs.
9. Participate in Process Reviews and Comment Adjudication Meetings.
10. Execute technical documentation requirements in accordance with the milestone schedule.
11. Support the development of technical manuals, technical bulletins, mechanical design, and engineering drawing creation, modification, and conversion.
Requirements:
Required Skills:
- Basic proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to obtain and maintain valid U.S. government secret clearance.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred Qualification:
3 or more years of military logistics experience
Security Clearance:
Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance as specified in the minimum qualifications. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation including but not limited to, criminal history, employment, and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
