Sports Turf Manager

JSM Services Inc. is seeking a full-time Sports Turf Manager for Athletic Fields at our Berkeley Preparatory School -Tampa, Florida location.

Qualifications:

• Must be a professional, self-starter who will work as a team player and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass background check, drug screening & be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have great communication skills, the ability to follow a schedule, adapt to changes and keep accurate records.
• The preferred candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working with clay baseball or softball fields
• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods and ability to lift minimum of 50lbs.

Duties:

• Talk to coaches and personnel and create weekly schedules that suits the needs of the fields
• Perform daily maintenance on the fields and equipment
• Maintain the robotic mowers on site
• Mowing, Edging, Weed eating, replacing irrigation heads.
• Maintain infield clay areas, as well as mound and plate
• Constantly monitor irrigation to ensure fields have enough water
• Weed control and some fertilization

Additional Information:

• Salary $50,000/year - paid weekly
• Company matching 401K, health benefits, PTO & holidays
• Monday to Friday ONLY! No weekends!
• Company provided truck
• 6:30am to 2:00pm
