Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position requires a strong understanding of quality management principles, as well as experience with various precision measuring instruments and quality inspection techniques. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and audits to ensure adherence to industry regulations, including ISO 13485 and FDA regulations.
Duties
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Analyze inspection results and document findings accurately for reporting purposes.
- Perform regular quality audits to assess adherence to established quality management systems.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for accurate measurements.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, and quality assurance activities.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory requirements related to quality control.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality inspection or a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards and FDA regulations is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, including calipers and other tools for quality assurance.
- Experience with Calypso software or similar quality management systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
