Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Officer to join our team. JSP Solution ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our construction sites Samsung Semiconductor site. This position requires expertise in risk management, compliance management, and occupational health, with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations. The Safety Officer will work closely with project managers and site personnel to promote a culture of safety and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on construction sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA 30 standards.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safe work practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Monitor compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations and report any violations or incidents.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to assess risks associated with projects and implement effective risk management strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and compliance documentation.
- Investigate accidents or near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in regulations related to occupational health and safety.
- SPANISH IS A PREFERRED BI-LINGUAL LANGUAGE BUT NO REQUIRED

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles, compliance management, OSHA regulations, and occupational health standards.
- Familiarity with construction management software is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively train employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing risks and developing effective safety strategies.
- Certification in Occupational Health & Safety or related field is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overnight shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
