Sheetrocker for the Construction field

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sheetrocker to join our JSP SOLUTION LLC construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in residential and commercial settings. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities

• Measure and cut drywall sheets to fit designated areas.
• Install drywall panels on walls and ceilings using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Secure panels with screws or nails, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
• Tape, mud, and finish joints between drywall sheets for a smooth surface.
• Repair any damaged drywall as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while on the job site.

Skills

• Proficiency in drywall installation techniques, including cutting, hanging, taping, and finishing.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in drywall work.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications.
• Good physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working in various positions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during installation.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members.
• Must have OSHA 10

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overnight shift
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
