The Opportunity
This position is for a facilities technician who will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, UPW, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operating results. Carry out routine maintenance on all company machinery and equipment to include fault finding, problem-solving and minor repairs to minimize downtime.
About You
5 Years’ Experience in Facilities / Maintenance
Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications to create spreadsheets, Word documents, and presentations
Able to comply with all safety policies and procedures
Have some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems.
Interpret and work from sketches, drawings, and blueprints and schematics.
Operating and performing repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of buildings and facility equipment :
Mechanical
Electrical
Heating and cooling systems
Plumbing Fixtures and systems
Liquid Industrial Waste systems
Chemical and gas delivery systems
As a facilities technician, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :
Performs both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of HVAC units, including package units, chiller systems; performs minor repairs to automation or environmental controls as needed
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide variety of facilities : plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating, and cooling systems.
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and perform required preventative maintenance duties.
Work performed within defined parameters.
Have some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems.
Writing procedures and checklists, assisting and training maintenance
Work with engineers in updating and maintaining SOPs and documentation for their system.
Operate, adjust, and repair boilers, heating controls, air distribution, and heating systems.
Recondition and or / install new parts of a variety of complex mechanical equipment.
