Right to hire position with a major Insurance firm. 2-3 days in Newark, NJ per week are required.
MUST HAVE Pension Risk Transfer experience.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a background in implementing effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading strategic insurance programs and AI-driven transformations. This role requires a deep understanding of product delivery processes, especially within the insurance industry and Pension Risk Transfers (PRT) specifically
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and uncover areas for improvement ensuring strategic alignment and operational efficiency.
Develop actionable business intelligence and analytics to drive decision-making.
Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
Develop and implement data governance, data management, and data quality program practices and strategies.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
What you bring to the table:
7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or in PRT
Experience working in an AGILE environment.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data modeling techniques.
Ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work independently / self-starter.
In this role you will be:
Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
Continuous upskilling of user platforms to support and in some cases administer updates within the system (configuration, tables, administration)
Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
Performing requirements analysis.
Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
Performing user acceptance testing.
Working closely with the Product Owner ensuring the team is focused on the right priorities
Creating and developing user stories and maintaining the backlog
Managing competing priorities.
Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Develop proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and AGILE tools (JIRA, MIRO)
