Senior Salesforce Developer (Hybrid – Newark, NJ)
Contract to Hire | Long-Term Contract - No third party Corp to Corp please.
Must be able to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.
We are seeking Senior Salesforce Developers for a long-term contract opportunity. This role offers the potential for contract-to-hire.
Objectives of this Role:
- Create custom solutions by designing and developing Salesforce applications.
- Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Support, maintain, and improve the functionality of existing Salesforce applications.
- Develop and maintain integrations with other applications and systems using web services and APIs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to identify and implement system improvements.
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce security and development standards.
Your Tasks:
- Develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning, and other technologies.
- Create technical documentation, including user guides, release notes, and design documents.
- Work collaboratively with technical teams to gather and document requirements for Salesforce solutions.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to Salesforce integrations and applications.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices for both existing and new Salesforce solutions.
- Stay updated with new Salesforce features and functionalities and recommend best practices for enhancing existing implementations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of demonstrable experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Salesforce administration, including Salesforce Lightning Framework, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning, and other Salesforce development technologies.
- Understanding of the Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships, and fields.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II, App Builder, or Administrator.
- Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
- Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD processes.
