About the Role
Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management services.
Work in coordination with JSSA’s outpatient counseling services to provide psychiatric services to adult and youth clients with behavioral health issues.
Work in collaboration with a Mental Health Nurse Coordinator to support client care, assist with insurance pre-authorization, and caseload management.
About You
Experience working with children, adolescents and adults
Ability to work effectively in a team
Creative and engaging, especially over video!
Must be available in the evenings to meet the schedules of our clients
Advance practice registered nurse (APRN) in the state of Maryland
A Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Nursing with focus on Psychiatric nursing
Graduation from a state-certified advance practice program specializing in psychiatry/mental health
1-2 years providing a direct client care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders
3 years of experience as a psychiatric provider preferred
Must be certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMH) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
An unrestricted license to practice as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) in the state of Maryland
Must be licensed in Maryland and Virginia
