Description
Oversee, evaluate, and drive said department. Manage and assign workload to specific department with the goals in mind of the Shop Supervisor.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide backup supervision and work coordination during the supervisor’s absence.
2. Review prints for best processing by Sink EDM and electrode manufacturing.
3. Coordinate and prioritize work across all three shifts.
4. Build, develop, and qualify production die and mold tooling.
5. Make replacement die and mold tooling.
6. Maintain shop equipment.
7. Occasionally may have to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. 5-7 years experience in related work.
3. Technical school, CAD capability, and NC programming capability are a plus.
4. Ability to read product drawings and tool drawings.
5. Ability to set up and operate press machines.
6. Die/Mold building and development, heat treating, machine build, and product prototyping.
7. Must have proficiency in the use of all tool room machines.
Salary : $25 - $40
