Data Integration/Developer

Overview

JST is currently seeking a Data Integration/Developer to support our team within a government environment.

This is a full-time hybrid position with on-site work in Washington, D.C. JST offers a full benefit package, a collaborative work environment and strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply. This position is contingent upon contract award. 

Data Integration/Developer Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain data integration processes between disparate systems.
• Understand and translate business needs into data models.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand and address data needs.
• Manage and maintain knowledge management systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to all relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, data security, and privacy policies.
• Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling.
• Implement data flow solutions for real-time and batch data processing.
• Create and maintain documentation related to data integration processes and workflows.
• Resolve data-related problems and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Improve and streamline processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability, and value.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement in knowledge management practices.

Data Integration/Developer Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in data integration, data development, or similar experience.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
• Strong background in data analysis, with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing knowledge management strategies and systems.
• Proficiency in knowledge management tools and software.
• Strong understanding of data governance and security best practices.
• Proven work experience as a Data Integration Developer, Data Analysis, or similar role.
• Proficiency in SharePoint and Power BI.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling and data architecture.
• Proven track record of enhancing knowledge sharing, improving data accessibility, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, user-friendly content.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Data Integration/Developer Desired Qualifications

• Masters (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
• Experience in a government agency/organization.
• Experience with change management and/or organizational development.
• Experience in the implementation and use of analytic tools to measure knowledge management system effectiveness.

Required Clearances and Screenings

• MUST have an active Secret Security Clearance or higher
